- MMMarc MAug 26, 20263.0I’ve just visited this Subway and unfortunately had a really unpleasant experience with a member of staff. What made it particularly uncomfortable was that she had a trainee working with her, and she was incredibly rude to him throughout. He was clearly nervous and trying his best, yet she spoke to him in a really dismissive and belittling way. She was also rude to customers, made sarcastic remarks and, honestly, showed very little consideration for basic hygiene while preparing food. There was then an issue on the till where the trainee accidentally made a mistake with my purchase. I was told that I would have to wait around five minutes while she served everyone else before she could refund me, or alternatively I could just take another cookie. It wasn’t even necessarily what she said, but the incredibly rude and blunt way she spoke to me that I found so unacceptable. I have never been spoken to like that as a customer. I actually tried to be positive and reassure the trainee, saying something along the lines of “you’ll get there, don’t worry,” because he genuinely seemed nervous and I felt sorry for him. She then bluntly looked at him and said, “I seriously doubt it.” I found that really horrible. There was absolutely no need to speak to someone she was training like that, especially in front of customers. Since leaving, I’ve also noticed several other negative reviews mentioning what appears to be the same member of staff, which unfortunately makes me feel that my experience wasn’t an isolated incident. I really hope management actually takes the time to look into these reviews and the way customers and staff are being treated. The trainee deserves to be taught and supported, not made to feel worse when he’s clearly already nervous, and customers deserve basic courtesy and professionalism.

I had a coupon but she refused to give off on that. So bad experience as it my go to place but i will think again before coming. Not at all expected.
