- MMMegan MeacockJul 8, 20261.0Visited on Tuesday for the pie night offer (£12 a meal). The food was lovely, but unfortunately we were charged full price. After speaking to the lady in charge, she processed a partial refund and then charged us an additional £29, which we assumed corrected the mistake. After checking our account the next day, we discovered that only £5 had actually been refunded from the original bill. The card machine was kept out of view during the transaction and no refund receipts were provided, which left us feeling very uneasy about how the payment was handled. It’s a real shame because the food was genuinely good and we only live down the road, so we would have been regular customers. Sadly, because of the way this was dealt with, we won’t be returning.
