  Ordered food my kids drink come, I was told mine my drink would be there soon took over 20 mins the people on other table got there food, I ask for water when I ordered food never come. My ribs was dry no sauce at all no meat only ate my chips, my daughter food hard crispy chicken no salad or sauce on burger she only ate chips which was cold. No staff on follow when other customers trying to pay, tables or drink etc very poorly run.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely brilliant evening and wonderful staff We visited tonight to celebrate my little sister’s birthday, and for me personally it was more than just going out for a meal. Because of work commitments and working within the NHS, life can sometimes get in the way and you realise that you miss out on time with the people who matter most. I haven’t been able to spend as much time with my little sister recently as I would have liked, so having the opportunity to come out tonight, celebrate her birthday and simply enjoy some proper family time together was really special. We didn’t arrive until around 9pm, so we were conscious that it was already quite late in the evening. Despite that, from the moment we arrived we were greeted warmly and made to feel welcome. There was never any feeling that we were an inconvenience because of the time, and the ladies looking after us were pleasant, friendly, attentive and genuinely seemed to care about making sure we had a lovely evening. There were a few items that unfortunately weren’t available, but considering the time of night, this was completely understandable and certainly wasn’t something we could complain about. What really stood out was how apologetic and helpful the team were. They didn’t just tell us something was unavailable and leave it at that; they were more than willing to help us find alternatives and make sure we were still happy with what we ordered. That level of customer service makes such a difference. The food itself was absolutely lovely. We had quesadillas which were fresh, vibrant and packed with flavour. I had a steak, while my sister had a platter with ribs and steak, and everything was cooked exactly how we requested it. The steak was cooked perfectly, the ribs were tasty, and everything arrived looking and tasting fresh. Credit definitely has to go to the chefs because the food really did hit the spot. What made the evening even better, though, was the service. Sometimes it isn’t just about the food when you go out somewhere — it is about how you are treated and how the staff make you feel. Tonight the team managed to create a really relaxed, friendly atmosphere, and that helped make what was already an important evening for us feel even more special. If I genuinely had to pick a negative about the evening, I would struggle to find one. Yes, a few items were unavailable, but at that time of night I think that is completely reasonable, and the way the staff handled it more than made up for it. One very personal request though — TGI, please bring back proper battered onion rings! 😂 I’m just not a massive fan of the breadcrumb ones. That is purely my own preference and absolutely not a negative reflection on the team or the food tonight. Give me a good crispy battered onion ring and I’ll be even happier! 😂 TGI Fridays should be extremely proud of the team working tonight. A special mention has to go to Alanndra and the lady working alongside her — I’m really sorry that I didn’t manage to get her name. Both of you were absolute stars. You were friendly, attentive, patient and made sure we were looked after throughout the evening. I’d also like to thank the chefs and everyone else working behind the scenes tonight. It takes a whole team to create a good experience, especially towards the end of what I’m sure had already been a long and busy day. Most importantly, thank you for helping make my little sister’s birthday special. I might not get to see her as often as I would like because work and life sometimes get in the way, so evenings like this really do matter. Thank you to everyone working tonight. Great food, lovely atmosphere and brilliant service. We left happy, full and with some lovely memories from my sister’s birthday. We would absolutely come back again. ❤️👏

  Extremely disappointing experience How can a restaurant still get things this badly wrong, especially considering the rocky road this location has been on over the past year or two? My wife, my child and I visited TGI Fridays at Meadowhall and were left waiting far too long just to be acknowledged at the entrance, despite the restaurant being fairly empty. Eventually we were seated, only to wait far too long again before anyone came over to take our order. There were multiple members of staff working on the floor, so it was difficult to understand why the service was so slow. When our server eventually arrived, the experience felt completely transactional rather than the warm hospitality you would expect from a restaurant like TGI Fridays. The order was taken quickly, with no real engagement or personality. Then the food arrived, and honestly, we were shocked. The presentation, care and overall execution were incredibly disappointing. I genuinely struggle to put into words just how poor it was. This was, without a doubt, the worst food presentation and execution I have experienced at a TGI Fridays. We also paid for bottomless refills with our drinks. Despite this, we only received our first round. Eventually, we had to get up, walk over to the bar and ask for a refill ourselves. Even then, I stood at the bar for over 10 minutes waiting for someone to take my order. Multiple members of staff saw me while actively working around the bar and on the floor, yet nobody acknowledged me. At this point, it wasn't just one thing that went wrong. The whole experience felt like a complete lack of care, attention and hospitality. I don't say this lightly, but I will never return to this location. Based on our experience, I would strongly urge others to consider going elsewhere. There are plenty of restaurants where you can spend your money and actually feel like your custom is valued. An extremely disappointing experience from start to finish.

  Visited around 5pm on a Sunday, the place was empty with a corner of the place with people sat id say around 5 - 6 tables full, the rest of the place also upstairs were empty with plenty of seating, only to be asked if we'd booked, we hadn't and was told a 30 minute wait (cant understand why when the place was deserted more) ordered some drinks kept waiting, none of the staff looked interested not one had any urgency, was told where to sit after a wait and the seats were covered in food and not clean, at that point decided to leave and head elsewhere. No shock now as to why they are shutting most of them, can see them all coming to end shortly.

  BADLY MANAGED, VERY POOR SERVICE We waited in line for five minutes before being told, “We’ll be right with you.” Ten minutes later, a member of staff finally informed us that they were fully booked and there would be a further 40-minute wait. Why couldn’t they have told us this straight away instead of leaving us standing around for 15 minutes? What made it even more frustrating was that the restaurant appeared completely empty, both upstairs and downstairs. We were told they didn’t want to use the other tables, which made absolutely no sense. Very poorly managed and disappointing service.
