  Excellent lunch, service was spot-on and great value from the Daytime menu. Total was £40, including a beer and a large wine.

  Food took ages to come and was cold/luke warm. Ordered a gammon dinner and it was plain and boring with barely any taste. I would not order that again. Other food I've had from here was quite nice but I was massively disappointed this time.

  Went and had a steak last night the cut of beef was not the best but once I high lighted this to the staff they agreed and changed it immediately. The chef Ali takes grant pride in his work the second cut was spot on and was cooked to perfection 👌 would most definitely eat here again thank you to the chef Ali and all the staff went above and beyond for me and my wife

  Visited beefeater before got great service and good food but this last visit was awful, got cramped together with other people even though it wasn't busy ,food was disappointing being served with food we hadn't ordered and I had possibly the worst pie and chips I have ever attempted to eat even burnt my mouth with the pie filling. Cutlery blunt and constantly harassed by flies. Toilets scruffy too .....we won't be eating there again.

  Id give 0 if I could to be honest. Outside is full of litter, and the same litter for days. I dont think glass collecting take place outside either. Nor have I noticed a single table wiped recently. The toilets by the bar are diabolically Disgusting. The baby changing facilities nothing short of rank. Today we waited forever for 2 portions of loaded frise.. which 3 members of our party had finished eating by the time they arrived. I dont know why its called loaded frise its about 12 chips with sauce on 🤣 and then they arrived wrong anyway. Not a sorry for the wait, sorry they arrived wrong. Infact a male member of staff snatched them away from the table with a tut. We come here regularly after a walk round the lake and cant see us going again untill they at least clean the join and can cook some chips.
