However, lately the place just seems to have become very unfriendly due to certain young female members of staff. Many of the older regulars who were great, seem to have left. Now there's 2 or 3 snotty ones that are often plonked on the tobacco counter. They are utterly miserable, curt, and unhelpful. If they had name badges I would name them, but oddly they never seem to have them on, (...Conveniently? 🤔 ) I don't know how they got their jobs, as their customer service is rubbish. It's a shame as the other staff are fine, and it's a handy shop. So please Co-op, sort out your staff training, or maybe improve morale? It shouldn't be that a customer is nicer to them than they are to you (You smile at them and are polite/respectful, and its totally lost on them...Not nice 👎)
