I visited this morning and, as usual, Mike was on the phone when I walked in. Rather than greeting me as a customer, I greeted him first, but I was completely ignored while he continued his conversation.
When I got to the till, he barely spoke to me. He seemed irritated, as though I was interrupting his phone call, and his attention remained focused on the conversation rather than the customer standing in front of him. I found this rude, unprofessional, and unacceptable.
Unfortunately, this isn't a one-off experience. Every time I visit when Mike is working, he comes across as miserable and unwelcoming, to the point where I genuinely dread going in. I wasn't planning to leave a review, but after experiencing the same attitude again today, I felt it was important to say something.
I'm writing this in the hope that the owner becomes aware of the issue and has a conversation with him about customer service. A friendly greeting and basic courtesy go a long way, and the atmosphere in the shop would benefit greatly from some improvement.

I normally go on a Tuesday afternoon (don't judge I work Friday to Tuesday) the you lad working is always so polite and friendly! I knew him from from working in Morrisons he seems so much happier working here but still 10/10 customer service ❤️
