  Busy store, good range of items, but stock can get short. Staff could be warmer and look to interact.

  Refit going on for weeks, the place is a mess. Staff making up home deliveries still barge customers out the way and block access to products - no thought to the customers in the store

  No stars,wouldnt let me put no stars.hubby recovering from heart attack so placed an order through woosh delivery...waiting by door..then received text saying order was cancelled...phoned local store...they can't do anything and its gonna take up to 5 days for refund...marvellous service..terrible service.

  Tesco Stowmarket are making big strides to race to the bottom! A very poor and disappointing shop to use. Vegetables are not very fresh and have a short life, as is some meat and fish. Sometimes the shop looks like it’s be looted with nothing left but empty shelves and cardboard boxes everywhere. Staff do not front-up. Sometimes prices on the shelf do not match the price charged. Staff don’t want to help if you have a complaint: ‘I can’t do anything, you need to complain to head office’. They won’t even record customer dissatisfaction. Aisles are narrow with little space to manoeuvre and usually packed with staff doing picking for click and collect or home delivery. It’s hard to get a manned checkout as few are open and usually have queues of four or five people. There is a continual drive to get you to use a self service checkout. These are slow and hard to work and often keep defaulting to ‘assistant required’ of which there are few staff available and slow to attend. A shop which needs help and I believe is best avoided until it gets it. Cohen would be turning in his grave.

  I mislaid my debit card whilst shopping just over a week ago. I didnt realise until I went shopping on 11/07/26 and having loaded the trolley could not find my card. I checked with customer services and was told that no card had been handed in. I tried phoning the store once I had returned but was unable to get through and before having the call terminated a recorded message saying that a lost card would be destroyed if not claimed within two days. Acting on this message I proceeded to cancel the lost card. I went and reshopped today and rechecked with customers services only to be handed my lost card. I questioned the fact that according to the recorded message the card should have been destroyed as they were over the two day limit of collection. I was told that quite often they disregard the two day collection time. If they state that the card is destroyed within 2 days of being handed in for security reasons then thet should stick with that. Would be interesting to see if a manager responds to this
