  Decent Tesco Express with all your everyday essentials. It's very convenient and has a good range of food and drinks. The store is quite small and compact, particularly the walkways, but they've made good use of the space available. There's a surprisingly good selection of food and drinks for the size of the store. There's only a single freezer section, but that's generally sufficient. They also run deals and promotions on various items. The usual Clubcard prices are available, which is a plus. I often pop in when I'm in town, whether it's for drinks, food, or other essentials. Staff are generally helpful. There are self-checkouts which are easy to use, and staff are happy to assist if needed. Overall, it's a good store that has all the essentials and is a welcome addition to the high street.

  Firstly, I found the store layout to be poor and the lighting unpleasant, with overly artificial lighting that made the environment uncomfortable. More importantly, the customer service I received was unacceptable. The staff member who served me was rude and appeared disengaged. There was no greeting, no clear communication during the transaction, and no “thank you” or “goodbye” at the end. I requested an O2 top-up of £15.00, but this was not processed correctly. The staff member did not confirm the amount, and I was instead charged £10.00 without realising until after I had left the store. This lack of communication is very disappointing. Overall, this was a poor experience, and I expected a much higher standard of service.

  It is on the high street so parking is limited during the day but evening is okay. It is a typical Tesco express with sunset of main supermarket stock but useful for everyday needs. Friendly and courteous staff.
