- EFElyse FairweatherMay 31, 20261.0Ordered from McDonald’s from the McDonald’s app, food arrived and was missing a big arch burger. Went to McDonald’s to get the burger with the receipt that had the burger on it. After speaking to a worker the manager came through and instead of apologising and giving us the burger we were missing which we have paid for as a meal, she instead decided to argue saying to go through uber. Through previous experiences, I have gone through uber and still missing £35 from an order that was cancelled on their end telling me to go through uber and this got me no where. The manager said we couldn’t have our burger and to go through uber which was not going to happen as food does not get delivered when going through them. After a 10 minute heated discussion the manager finally decided to give us the burger but told us we are not allowed to do it again (meaning go in to collect food that they missed off the order in the first place). Normally people say the customer is always right but in this case with the manager at this McDonald’s it definitely isn’t true. The funny thing was there was a couple next to us which were previously in as they were given the wrong order. This is the 3rd time this has happened to us and won’t be ordering from McDonald’s again. Waste of time and money.
