  i wish i could give wagamama 0 stars but that’s not possible so this one star goes to the service. the people of bury st. edmund’s have the idea that a ramen is supposed to have brown broth that tastes like water, half white, half brown, cold, uncut, unseasoned “tea-soaked” eggs, and if you got the gochujang pork belly, it is not supposed to taste like barbeque sauce and have the texture of beef jerky. the amount of soy sauce added to the ramen so that it wouldn’t taste like LITERALLY nothing is uncanny. no hate to any of the chefs because this chain must have given them these rubbish recipes. but if you’re looking for DECENT asian food, stay 50 kilometers away from wagamama. having stayed in japan with a host family and the luxury of trying authentic ramen, this is extremely far from it. don’t waste quid on the crushed cucumbers because they’re nothing like the picture! 😆 they’re not marinated, not crushed, and not seasoned. the cherry on top is the fact that there’s no chilis in the “chili oil.” it tastes like spicy olive oil… this is a chain, i get it. if you’re working here you need a raise though. the servers and chefs were genuinely very nice and working very hard. this is a dig at the chain, no one should be eating food like this. i’m very glad i ate at wagamama’s though. if you want to see how bad ramen tastes, come on over #preachingthegospel king edmund did not die for this

  Unfortunately to make the margins Wagamama have taken to serving portions which are all stodge. The protein and veg are less than half what they used to be and don’t resemble the photos in the menu. I was treated like a lunatic when I raised it. I wish they’d just be honest and then I can manage my expectations. I won’t be back.

  Popped in for lunch our first time to Wagamamas food was very good not what we expected staff were attentive, our server craig very accommodating and we will certainly recommend.

  Yo creo que llamar a lo que nos sirvieron Ramen es un insulto a la inteligencia. Por describirlo de alguna manera era una base de agua caliente insípida con trozos de pollo seco hervido y ajetes. No se podía comer. Tengo que decir que lo único medio aceptable fue el menú infantil. Eso si las camareras muy serviciales y atentas. La comida para NO volver nunca más.
