  The man serving on Monday 18th May. At the take away counter , also making the chips , you are a pure credit to the company. Hamburger was delicious as well

  As tourists we decided to try our luck by ordering burgers at Five Guys, the menu is erratic as the burger comes with no toppings. The server could have informed us the we could choose a selection of toppings on out burgers. Surprisingly we go 2 orders with a bread rolls and 2 burger patties, that's it. No lettuce, tomato onions, nothing. Very disappointing, your staff should be more helpful and explain the menu.

  The worst Five Guys I’ve ever had. Stay away! Poor service, poor food, unhygienic smell. Went into the store to grab an early lunch, a hamburger, fries and a milkshake - simple enough. The first disappointment came when I tried to use a discount when placing my order. Having a discount card, I asked the server to apply the discount, which he was fine to do, but he wasn’t sure of how to do this, so sought out a colleague. I don’t know the colleague’s name, but he was extremely rude and dismissive. I had to go onto an app and scan a QR code, which must have been new as I’ve never had to do this before. Rather than explain this, he kept saying “scan the code” and walking off. Neither I, nor the server dealing with me, knew what he was telling us to do. He was called back and again just repeated “scan the code” before waving me/us away with a wave of his hand as if we were a nuisance. Then when I eventually received my food, it was horrible. The burger was the greasiest that I have ever had from Five Guys. The tin foil wrapping was dripping with grease, and the burger tasted foul because of it. The tomatoes I had on top tasted as if they had been left out for days, and the chips were very undercooked, pale, and flavourless. Never mind the fact that there were hardly any chips in my bag. Normally, even with a small fried you would get the cup filled, plus some on top. This wasn’t that. I doubt there were even enough chips to fill the cup - not even one potatoes worth! I went up to say that I wasn’t happy with the chips (as I hadn’t tried the burger at that point), and was met with the same unhelpful staff member as before, who again just dismissed me, waved me off saying that’s how many chips I get. £4.65 for about 12 chips is utterly ridiculous. Plus, the entire time I was there there was an utterly disgusting damp/chemical like smell coming from the drinks machines. It filled the entire restaurant and was very sickening when standing next to the machines whilst waiting on the food. Absolutely horrible experience and by far my worst at any Five Guys. I will not be back at this restaurant and would urge others to stay away.
