  Me and my fiancée visited the Subway on Argyle Street and it wasn’t the best experience if I’m being honest. The shop itself felt quite dirty and the service was slow. We also felt a bit rushed when ordering and even while eating, which made it hard to relax and enjoy the food. I ordered a 6 inch chicken tikka with bacon, lettuce, cucumbers, mayo and BBQ sauce. Even though it was toasted, it came out quite plain and cold and didn’t taste very fresh. It was okay, but definitely not the best Subway I’ve had. I also ordered nachos that were supposed to have tangy cheese Doritos, but ended up with chilli heatwave and a handful of lightly salted instead. There wasn’t much cheese or topping on them either, which was disappointing because they would have been much nicer with a bit more on top. The main reason the rating isn’t lower is honestly because of the cookie. It was my favourite part, so soft and absolutely gorgeous. Overall the food was okay, but the slow service, rushed feeling and cleanliness let it down.

  I have never seen such a poor service in any restaurant, Scarf girl doesn’t have any manners to speak with the customers, she is very rude. I don’t think people like her deserve to work in any restaurant. Instead of helping customers she try to scare them. Please take some action against her otherwise her this type of service would effect your business. I hope you would take strict action against her.

  Abysmal service and staff attitude - not paying attention to customer orders, all equipment shut down half an hour before closing time, no adjustment for business levels on Bonfire Night, attempted to get me to pay double... I could go on but frankly the place seems beyond recovery.
