  This Tesco is convenient and well stocked, but the customer service could definitely be improved. The store serves a lot of local people, yet the staff often seem disengaged and uninterested in assisting customers. On a number of occasions, staff appeared more focused on personal conversations or their phones than on providing good customer service. A friendly greeting and a more positive attitude would make a big difference to the overall shopping experience. The store itself is useful and has everything you need, but some additional customer service training could help improve the atmosphere and make customers feel more welcome.

  I love this branch. Its small being just an express. But it what it has is a life saver at times. The parking is very decent for an express, with maybe 20 bays. There is also a clothing bank at the back of the car park along with collection lockers. An ATM machine was installed a few months back so its growing. While the inventory of items is limited due to only being a small exress, the shelves are well stocked with those items that they do sell. There ae three self serve tills and they work fine though mostly they dont print reciept. The staff are really pleasant. The Sikh cashier is super too. I saw him subtley pay for a poor kid's groceries once with his own bank card because he was short of cash. That was a special moment. There is normally a security guard on in the evening so they must get a lot of shop lifting or abusive customers. Pity becuase, as I said, I find the staff lovely and the convenience of having the store in the heart on the community great is brilliant. Oh, and the night time view of the Turners Hill/Rowley Regis horizon is epic. Speaking of which, it's open 7 days a week from 6am until 11pm (Sunday too!).
