  I love the food and drinks they provide, its a warm and welcoming place to go for a coffee, but there's better places to go in Uppingham for price and quality.

  Best cafe we’ve ever been to!! Away for the weekend and came across Esquires…SO impressed. Clean, very nicely decorated, spacious, but still had a cosy and comfortable atmosphere. Staff were lovely. Amazing menu, lots of options and great value. Food was divine, enjoyed both something savoury and sweet, and coffee was lovely (very generous sizes too). Lovely additional touches - help yourself water station, interactive game desk and lovely mini library where you can loan/swap books. No complains at all about anything. Will be coming back to Uppingham just for this place again. 10/10 thank you so much :)

  We visited this coffee shop in Uppingham because we heard one is opening soon in Oakham, and we wanted to try it in advance. We were genuinely excited — but honestly, it was a complete disaster. The food was extremely poor quality. The eggs were tasteless and felt like powdered eggs. The bread was very cheap and we couldn’t even finish it. The bacon was thin, dry, and had no flavour at all. The coffee was also disappointing — I can make a better one at home with my own coffee machine. Between the two of us, we spent nearly £30 on food that wasn’t even worth £1.99. Very overpriced for what you get. Never again.

  Popped in today with friend from out of town I had my usual flat white (great as always) and she had a pot of Earl Grey we fancied a 2nd drink as atmosphere was good so I ordered another flat white and a pot of boiling water as she just needed a top up (no charge for the water👍). After a while we fancied a bite to eat so my friend ordered what we thought looked good and at a decent price & after half an hour nothing came so she nipped to the counter to see what the delay was and the young man straight away said he’d forgotten the order no problem really but maybe a little frustrating but within 10 minutes our food was in front of us with so many apologies and offers of a totally refunded visit etc etc in my opinion he really didn’t need to but it was appreciated mistakes happen in a workplace and it’s fine as it was rectified quickly so fair play to you all. Food was great for me coffee is the best in Uppingham. Sorry for the long review 😊
