  Ordered eggs benedict and poached eggs on sourdough and a latte(luke warm)...was quite a wait considering wasn't that busy....when food arrived looked OK and apologised as short staffed...till I cut my eggs on the sourdough...HARDBOILED is how I would describe it and the eggs for the benedict too but at least hubby had a sauce in his,called a staff member over who offered to replace but had waited long enough and had work so was refunded(breakfast still not eaten)...also you should close certain rooms in coffee shop ie dirty plates and my husband saw you get the frozen muffin for the benedict and it was rock hard...unfortunately first and last time visiting.

  I was in a bit of a hurry to catch my train, so I decided to pop into Esquires Oakham for a coffee rather than having food — and I’m so glad I did! ☕️✨ I ordered a flat white with oat milk and vanilla syrup, and it was absolutely delicious — smooth, creamy, and perfectly balanced with just the right hint of sweetness. The atmosphere was lovely, with a warm, cosy and welcoming feel. I also really liked the design of the café — stylish, comfortable and thoughtfully put together, making it a great place to relax even if you only have a short time. The staff were friendly, polite and efficient, which was especially appreciated as I was rushing to catch my train. The service was quick without feeling rushed, and everyone was so welcoming. A superb café with great coffee, lovely staff, excellent service and a beautiful atmosphere. Even though I was only stopping for a quick coffee, Esquires Oakham made a great impression. I’ll definitely be back next time I’m in Oakham! ☕️🤎✨

  My wife and I popped in for a coffee and it was a very pleasant experience. Ditch Corporate Costa, go here instead Oakham folk, similar prices and a much better atmosphere.

  Walked in waited 15 minutes in line and due to the wait opted for 2 flat whites only to be told it would be a 15 minute wait so we left … didn’t get to try the food or atmosphere. Two gents in bike garb were obviously not wanted. We would even have taken away but just made to feel most unwelcome.

  ⭐ One star for the food and service. The coffee was an innocent bystander. Bland food, slow service and male staff who came across as rude. The food needed seasoning, and the welcome needed warming up. Plenty of time to notice both while waiting. Expensive, too. The bill was the only thing that managed to raise an eyebrow. The coffee was OK, but it couldn’t rescue the visit.
