  Oh dear. Having been here before with no issues, this was our first choice before flying off. Unfortunately this time 11 Oct 2026 was a disaster. It was very busy but this should not be an excuse. The chap wiped the table we were being shown to by swiping pieces of food onto the floor, which he left there and he also put a dirty plate on one of the seats while he did so. We had to pick up a fork he left lying in the middle of the floor. We had to stop one of the staff to ask to give our order after being left sitting for quite a while. About 20 mins elapsed after ordering before our coffees arrived but with no sign of the cold food we had ordered. The coffees had also clearly been sitting for a while as a ring had formed round the cup . We waited another 10 mins or so and with no sign of the food, called a member of staff over to ask if we were getting the food otherwise we'd need to cancel as our boarding time approached. He came back and simply told us our order was cancelled. No apology. So clearly after at least half an hour, the cold food had not been prepared. I doubt I will go back even if it is quiet.

  Use to be a great place to visit in the airport, always short staffed, and what staff they have look totally miserable,used to be my favourite place for breakfast, and chilling before my flight, sadly not now.

  When we arrived the girl didn't greet us. She hardly looked in our direction and said sit anywhere, not a great start. We did self ordering from our table and obviously didn't leave a tip as the girl was very hostile. My cup was dirty and my husband and I were not given a saucer for our tea and coffee, although everyone else had them. I couldn't get the waitresses attention so I got up and asked for a clean cup at the bar. Tips are for good service and should not be taken for granted. We had to self order so what service did we get. Food is ok, nothing special.

  Absolutely abysmal "Caledonia brunch".incinerated bacon (obviously left over from the morning). 2 burst fried eggs. Lorne sausage that could have served as a doorstep. The sweet potato fries were so undercooked as to be inedible. The mushrooms barely existed and where they could be found, were watery and tasteless. The sole glimmer of half decent flavour was a smear of haggis hidden by the burst fried eggs. Dismal.

  Unfortunately, this was a very disappointing experience, particularly given the price. From the moment we arrived, the overall attitude from the staff was poor. Rather than receiving a friendly welcome, we were simply told, “Sit down and order at the bar.” There was no hello, no warmth, and no sense that customer service was a priority. The blonde, larger lady who appeared to be the manager was particularly noticeable. Her manner came across as very passive-aggressive and rude. This wasn’t because of any particular incident or disagreement; it was simply her general attitude towards customers. That kind of attitude from someone who appears to be in a managerial position inevitably sets the tone for the rest of the team. Even asking for basic things such as sauce or condiments seemed to be an inconvenience. I genuinely wouldn’t have been surprised if we had been expected to collect the food from the bar ourselves. The breakfast itself was also very disappointing. At £16.50, I would expect a reasonable standard, but the food was dry and some parts were cold. There was also no check-back from the staff to ask how everything was or whether we needed anything. To be fair, the regular bar staff and waiters were generally fine, and we didn’t have any major issues with them. The main problem was the overall lack of attentiveness and the attitude that seemed to come from management and filter down. The music was also excessively loud for 4am, which is hardly ideal when people are trying to have breakfast before a flight. Overall, there were no major incidents, but that almost makes the experience more frustrating. It was simply a combination of poor customer service, substandard food, excessive pricing and an attitude that made it feel as though customers were an inconvenience. At £16.50 for breakfast, the value for money is extremely poor, and there certainly isn’t enough customer service to justify the price. I would recommend trying one of the other options in Glasgow Airport instead.
