  I’m extremely disappointed to be writing another review about the same staff member at this Tesco. Today, I needed assistance at the self-checkout. The same older male staff member came over, fixed the issue without making any eye contact, and when I said “thank you,” he walked away without acknowledging me at all. His behaviour was so dismissive and uncomfortable that my friend, who was standing next to me, immediately asked why he was being so rude. Sadly, this is not an isolated incident. On 28/07 in the afternoon, I had a very unpleasant interaction with the same staff member at the counter when asking for a specific brand of cigarettes. As he searched, I politely tried to point out where it might be, and he snapped at me: “I know what it is. I know how to do my job. You don’t need to tell me how to do my job.” His tone was hostile, rude, and humiliating, especially in front of other customers. I was simply trying to be helpful and respectful. It’s genuinely uncomfortable having to visit my local Tesco knowing I may be treated this way. Customer service should involve basic courtesy and professionalism, not irritation, rudeness, or visible misery taken out on customers. Absolutely appalling customer service. Very disappointed.
