Considering Werrington is home to mostly older people you would assume they wouldn’t do this. Prices seem to have kept going up the past year or so, won’t shop here anymore but it’s a big shame as it’s close
- MCMadison CarpenterJul 14, 20261.0Terrible experience This is normally my go to shop but I feel as though I will not be going here anymore due to the terrible service at the self checkout till On the 13/07/26 around 2 pm I was refused service by a blonde middle aged woman for a redbull . I provided my drivers licence to prove that I was of age but that was enough apparently, due to having my sister with me she refused to let me have my sister is 16 she does not have any id I was buying it for myself I don’t know what she expected me to do. Leave my 16 year old sister outside / in the car although she asked to come with me to get some stuff for herself I was paying for her stuff aswell but apparently 21 year olds aren’t aloud energy drinks anymore even with id. Absolutely terrible do not recommend
- CMChelley MJul 1, 20263.0What a shame that there are now even more self checkouts. I think there may now only be 3 staffed tills (when they are open). Going to the supermarket may be the only interaction with another person done people may have and everything is now self service. It upsets me that there is NO customer service anymore and this small Tesco has prioritised speed over service. Most of the staff work extremely hard and are helpful and friendly and keep the shop well stocked. A couple (ironically on the tills) have a terrible attitude that never gets any better.
