  what a lovely pub! staff very accommodating, especially taylah who went above and beyond for us. She was on top of glasses and was sure to ask if we’d like another one promptly. Lovely building especially since the refurb. Every time been in fab !

  Made to feel welcome from the 1st minute I walked through the door, all members of staff made you feel like you had been coming to the pub for years. Nice to come to a pub with reasonable prices that has an excellent atmosphere. The 3 members of staff I had dealings with were the landlady Jess along with Kerry and Carys behind the bar. I would highly recommend others try the Lion.

  Was in the lion recently after its lovely new refurbishment The place always has a great atmosphere Staff very friendly and welcoming I was served by Taylah who was very pleasant and helpful behind the bar Would recommend a visit to anyone to the lion

  Great atmosphere, with friendly staff especially Naomi who always serves with a smile and knows your order. The new look has made it feel very welcoming and warm. Great they are now offering more entertainment, bingo and quiz nights. An enjoyable place to be :)

  Since the reopening on The Lion 🦁 we have had a few visits and thoroughly enjoyed them all, from quiet drinks, to bands,darts, fantastic music and karaoke. They have it all. Always clean and tidy with a great atmosphere and prices 🦁 We will be back 👏🏻 Well done Jess and team 🦁
