  The bar staff was pretty good fair play.She served on a regular basis, wasn't rushed done really well.By all counts, atmosphere was brilliant.Service was fantastic.Welcome to everyone coming here again

  Got watched in the toilets by someone and then kicked out because of it. We are underage and came in for toilet, j2o, and then a chippy nearby with some adults from our running club. When going in toilets, we were followed in by someone coming out who watched us smiling. We were creeped out and therefore waiting before using the urinals; after a while of this we couldn’t help but look away and laugh because we were uncomfortable. Then, this person suddenly started shouting at us to get out and dragged us out. There was 3 of us and one was in the cubicle at the time. We just left the quickly while being shouted at due to how creeped out we were. The adults followed us out quickly after. I don’t know whether this was to do with the pub staff or not and apologise if not.

  Jess, the manager and her team are a really welcoming team. They always provide great service. The pub as a whole is a really enjoyable experience!

  Made to feel welcome from the 1st minute I walked through the door, all members of staff made you feel like you had been coming to the pub for years. Nice to come to a pub with reasonable prices that has an excellent atmosphere. The 3 members of staff I had dealings with were the landlady Jess along with Kerry and Carys behind the bar. I would highly recommend others try the Lion.
