  Just spent a fortune in Tesco's transit way. Used self checkout only 2 staff members on. One tesco staff member very rude and obviously stressed. No please or thank you. Staff members name was maddison. I did report it to customer services. Absolutely no need to be rude. Manners cost nothing.

  I was asked for a physical ID, when I had showed the picture on the phone , this was really shocking as I don’t even look like 18, I am in my 30s. I think even a ID on the phone should be expected as a lot people don’t carry physical ID with them

  Visited the shop early evening on Thursday 21/05/26 ,only one till open all trolley self checkouts closed had to wait in a long queue then to top it off the fresh milk I purchased was dated use by 22/05 absolutely poor can't even sort your dates out

  Awful service this evening 27/4/26 Had a trolley full and was told that the trolley self service checkout was closed along with the staff operated checkout. Had to struggle with the basket checkout and my shopping was falling off as there was no room for it all … yet no member of staff helped despite me asking for help. A female member of staff was particularly rude. I won’t be returning.
