- KPKayne PattersonApr 10, 20261.0Terrible Service. Me and my friends went to get some drinks for my friends 19th birthday (2 boys, 2 Girls). When buying the drinks, after showing our ID, we were accused of being with two other boys and being a liar. Then we were “not allowed” to buy any more things as they had “proof” we were with two others. Not to mention the looks they gave us and the woman who vouched for us. Don’t know the names, but there was a tall man with glasses and an older woman with shorter hair.
- ALAaliyah Lewis-PowletteMar 27, 20261.0Was followed and profiled by security who made the assumption that we were stealing, making my 60 year-old mother and I uncomfortable. She saw us walking around the store with a granny trolley with items from a previous store and a Tesco trolley full of groceries we were planning to buy. When she realised she knew we were being followed, she demanded to see what was in my mum's personal trolley. We refused to which she said she'll be asking to take a look when we finish our shopping. She then approached us again saying the reason we were followed was because of mass theft and was on alert for someone who's done it previously to which we decided to leave the shopping and go elsewhere. Unconscious bias or not, I will not tolerate being racially profiled in a store we frequented often and used to work in.
- TTTrinMar 13, 20261.0I ordered food at there automated system machine and was then told after I had paid for my food that there will be a 30 minute wait by staff. I was not told this prehand and now I have to wait for the money to go back into my account. I would advise asking staff on how long food wait is before ordering. Not happy waste of time.
