  First time eating in a beefeater for us. We stayed in the Premier next to this restaurant. So surprised it was really good, generous portions & so very tasty. Disappointed to hear that they are closing in September.

  Food was distinctly average and not that tasty. All the waiting staff were miserable, no smiles & walked around with hunched shoulders. Only the guy on the bar was friendly. 25 minute wait for 3 puddings which they basically had to heat up in the microwave! Clientele - varied! Wouldn't recommend.

  Food is good pub standard and good options. There was however an outstanding member of staff William who was on it and is a credit to the establishment. If every pub had a William then you would never get bad reviews... this guy knows hospitality...

  Ate dinner and breakfast here as part of an overnight stay at the nearby Premier Inn. A good variety of meals, steaks, grills, burgers and drinks deals are available. The layout is good and not cramped with too many tables. Overall the restaurant is kept very clean with friendly staff. The quality of the food is good and well proportioned. If the bar service is taking many orders, you may experience a slight delay in getting drinks. Advisable to book in advance via the website. Nice restaurant, good value for money.
