  I asked one of your staff members whether these were oranges because I have an allergy to grapefruit. She assured me that they were definitely oranges. Thankfully, I didn't fully trust that information and checked when I got home. I then discovered that Minneola is a tangelo, a cross between a tangerine and grapefruit. This could have ended very badly for me because of my allergy. Please make sure your staff are properly informed about the products they are selling, especially when a customer specifically asks because of an allergy. Giving incorrect information about food in this situation could have serious consequences for someone else.

  Negative experience August 2026 visit : won’t be back , staff have no clue , security chatting instead of securing venue TSS security no doubt , and toilet is in shambles and disgusting as a customer it’s not worth free toilet no wonder it’s free absolute mess Tesco area manager need to sort this out asap making the company and Tesco in this area look like rubbish and also plenty of self service tills but not everything in stock as advertised online for a large tescos which is disappointing

  DONT USE IN CASE OF EMERGENCY* Closed 6 minutes before 12, I told the obnoxious security guard I only needed one thing which was engine oil because my car was going to break down. Terrible service, blamed manager said they don’t want anyone else in the store because it’s closing. Turned multiple people away all over 5 minutes before closing.

  We are going to this Tesco Oxford in Cowley once in a month. This Tesco superstore is small than the other Tesco store in major cities. This store only preference to grocery items such fruits, vegetables, meat items and some household items. There is only 1 aisle of clothing and that belongs to children. But there's a Sushi and Japanese fresh food counter and we get very fresh Japanese food there. Sushi is a traditional Japanese dish made with vinegared rice combined with ingredients like seafood, meat or vegetables. It doesn't mean raw fish, the main defining component is always seasoned rice. In Kettering there's no Japanese fresh food counter. Also there is a Costa express and Costa coffee cafe. Also there are a lot of car parking spaces there. This Tesco superstore is outskirts of Oxford City and Mini Cooper car manufacturering factory is nearby. But the problem is every time there is huge rush in the store. And long queue of customers can see in self scanning (check out) counters. 🙏🙏🙏.
