New customers can also get a free hot drink of their choice, just for downloading the app. The Greggs Foundation aims to build stronger, healthier communities across nine principle programmes including 'The Breakfast Club programme', which helps primary school children get a nutritious start to their school day. Today there are over 680 Breakfast Clubs across the UK, serving wholesome, free breakfasts to around 44,000 children every school day- that's 8.5 million meals a year.

The food is always delicious, fresh and full of flavour, but what really makes the experience special is the service. Bianca is absolutely wonderful. She is always friendly, welcoming and genuinely makes you feel like a valued customer. She has such a lovely attitude and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is perfect. You can tell that she really cares about the customers and takes pride in what she does. The atmosphere is also great, and the whole team is friendly and professional. Whether you’re coming for a quick meal or spending some time enjoying the food, you always feel comfortable and well looked after. A special thank you to Bianca for always being so kind and welcoming. People like her really make a difference and are a big part of what makes a place worth coming back to. Highly recommended! What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
