A nice shop but woeful staffing. What is meant to be a convenience store becomes very inconvenient when there are no staff to let you buy any age restricted items. They need to have one staff member permanently on the kiosk. The other reviews show this is an ongoing issue

Store is a decent size but when you need help with alcohol/medicines etc on the self service never anyone around or they have someone on the shop floor who isn't old enough to approve. And the old school tills no one is ever there so using cash is impossible

The next door store, clean and perfect for a quick grocery run with most essentials.

My wife bought a pot of yoghurt (Yeo organic),from Didcot Kilburn place branch. However before she even reached into the fridge to purchase, she realised a really bad smell inside the fridge. Something had obviously gone off.
As the pot of yoghurt was in date and the packaging was in tact, so can’t be contaminated if something else inside the fridge was off. We purchased it on Sunday 10/05/26 12:47pm (bill total £9.30), and the use by date was labelled 24/05/26.
However, just before she was going to feed our 10 month old baby with the yoghurt, she tasted it, and it was off.
This store is newly opened, but seems like it had issues already.
This yoghurt could have poisoned our baby.

Very convenient but they need more than 1 staff member in there. Self service tills are fine until you need something like alcohol authorised and then you can't find any staff to help.
