- MSMelanie ShieldsJun 12, 20263.0Had fish and chips from here tonight, very disappointing. Soggy batter, not at all crispy, and everything greasier than it used to be. We've been customers of Churchill's for years, but after another disappointing experience tonight we won't be returning.
- MMmjdennessJun 7, 20262.0Ordered chips with a battered sausage and curry sauce. The place looked clean and could have been busy but the food was extremely lacking. The sausage was tepid and the chips soggy and limp with grease (like sucking a stick of butter). Also, not standard curry sauce but Chinese style. Portion sizes were not great either. Took a chance but won't be visiting again unfortunately.

Went on the app ordered a lunch time deal and was expecting the usual soggy enemic battered small portion rip off. The batter was crispy and the colour it should be . Portion size wasn't big by any means but was value for the money which it definitely wasn't previously. Fair play for the improvement

As it was my first piece of hake, i googled a description which came back saying ,similar texture to Cod ,without a strong fishy flavour. I looked on several sites which all gave the same description. So sad
