  I ordered the chicken skewers and a pint of the IPA. There were four small pieces of chicken without flavour and a flatbread that would have been useful in a street fight. The beer was just awful, I left half a pint. Bit of a captive market as it is in the middle of an industrial estate but the Plum Pudding is a 20 minute walk away and does great beer include a pint called Og which is brewed in the village. If I have to stay at the hotel again I’ll eat at the Plum Pudding.

  Got food poisoning from a mixed grill last night. Was up all night being sick 4 times and spent the following day trying to manage dehydration in bed in the hotel next door. And paid over £30 for the privilege. Won’t be eating here again. Also worth noting that they do Not have a 5 star food hygiene rating.

  We did a lot of traveling in the UK this was our least favorite place to eat. it was a bit like a chain. Food was not great - okay we had 6 with us food all came a different times. Waitress was too busy to interact and ask us how it was. Maybe she knew.

  Super rude the duty manager named Katie turned us away and told us to go look for breakfast else where after we had booked and prepaid. They had lots of clean tables which they said was ‘dirty’ we felt very disrespected.We always enjoyed being here but this time was not good at all.

  Went for breakfast this morning, all was good apart from the attitude of one of the staff. She was staring while my 2 year old had a tantrum and was giving dirty looks and then once we were finished we picked up the food from the floor, even moving the table to get to it and cleaned up the food on the table from the toddler, however he’d eaten a muffin which had caused lots of crumbs and we had no way to pick them up. She came over as we were packing up and exclaimed “oh my god” at the mess and when I explained that we had tried to clean up what we could she just stood there giving us a dirty look. I would understand if I hadn’t tried to clean it up but it was extremely rude and unprofessional of her to cause a scene about it in front of everyone in the restaurant. Won’t be going back.
