Was good atmosphere, just beside the bridge, good use of space for tables. Food and drinks available with front beer garden. Beers average to higher prices compared to rest of whitby.

Great location but it’s ruined unfortunately by everything else. The staff are so unfriendly and in no way open to helping. Putting dirty bottles inside glasses and telling you to go elsewhere if you ask for a clean glass. Unclean tables and sticky floors. The rooms are not worth the price. The bathrooms are dirty around the grouting and the showers you can hardly get into. For £500+ for a weekend it’s far too overpriced. Hopefully the new owners will make positive changes. This could be great - fingers crossed

My husband and I spent a few nights at this delightful Inn! It was a spectacular location and walking distance to most of what the town has to offer. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful ! Mac who served us in the morning for breakfast was an absolute delight , which made the stay even better! Thanks
