- EMElle MillsAug 9, 20263.0Stopped at Thirsk Services for breakfast on the way to Flamingo Land. Really convenient place to stop for a break during the journey. The food was hot, the service was quick and the restaurant was clean . Overall, a good start to our day out at Flamingo Land!
- DWDakota WAug 7, 20265.0Nice little stop of youre doing a long journey, music playing clearly, exceptionally clean tables and toilets with empty of outdoor seating. All level flooring for disability access to all areas of the restaurant. Food was hot but the hot chocolate was crap.

Got to the drive through speaker and normally someone appears quite quickly, this morning we waited for a good few minutes and then someone said "hold on I won't be long" which was bizarre. Waited a few more minutes where we were trying to decide whether to just drive around and go in. Someone appeared, had to tell them we were using the app, drove round, collected the food and then had to wait ages for an orange juice. All seemed a bit chaotic and disorganised. It seems like quite a new McDonald's so hopefully just teething issues. Food was fine though!

However, whilst counter service was polite and efficient, it took ages to get our order which was only a porridge and a breakfast wrap. When it arrived, the porridge was tepid warm, missing golden syrup and missing a spoon. I was glad to have checked before we left to go back to the car. There was no problem getting the missing items but it's not like there was a lot to remember with the order.
