- MPMaria PearceSep 5, 20265.0Lovely friendly staff and I’ve been a few times now — the guy serving is always absolutely lovely. Let’s face it, Subway is Subway… we all know what we’re getting 😂 But this place is a real credit to them. It’s clean, the staff are friendly and they get through the queues as quickly as they can, even when it’s busy. And then there are the jacket potatoes… 😋 Honestly, I think I’ve found my new favourite! Never thought I’d be getting excited about a jacket potato from Subway, but here we are. Definitely recommend!

Then took it across to check it at the post office when clearly it wasn’t fake. I asked does it look dodgy? And he pointed to a tiny mark. Really rude, won’t be going back.

Two doors entering the same room however the left side is a post office, the right a Subway separated only by pull out barrier therefore when you sit eating there's people and Royal Mail staff in and out. I don't know how long the Subway has been set up in the Post Office but it was clearly still being decorated. The radiator was missing off the wall but the pipes were still present. One wall was crumbling and had channels cut in it and looked like the original Post Office wall. There are 4 tables and chairs. The table tops needed wiping down and the table feet were filthy. The 2 staff were stood around when we entered so they could have been cleaning the tables in all honesty. The food was okay, very standard for Subway, the drinks however were all fizzy water and little flavour. Staff were fine, the place just needs cleaning and decorating.
