We visited from Australia and were not aware that we had to scan our receipt from Tesco to get free parking - received a very large fine as a result. Not signed clear enough

I would give it less stars if I could... the parking is unclear and confusing, if your not shopping at Tesco you pay for your ticket as you arrive but if your shopping at Tesco you get your ticket on the way out... mixed with most Tesco car parks are free without jumping through hoops

Reading that people say the staff are rude, do not understand this at all, use this store often and all the staff are really friendly, helpful and nice. Cafe staff are really good. I love the 2 hour parking because it means we can usually park and before it was very hard to get a parking place. We need the blue badge parking and it is so much easier to get in now.

Came into the store for a pack of crayons…as soon as I entered - I was immediately pinned to the ground by one of the self service checkout workers, they held a Bazooka to my head and threatened to blow me up, completely disregarding the safety of fellow staff and members of the public. I was then forced into a thumb war to keep my life. Fortunately I came out victorious, narrowly escaping death by the skin of my teeth. 3 days after I got a £100,000 parking fine through the door from being parked in the car park for 93 seconds - if I pay it within 14 days then they will reduce it by 0.00000001% - so thank you for the compassion as I was worried I wouldn’t be able to pay the full fine, but now I can. Came back in today, not to buy anything, just to have one long captivating sniff of the ecstasy that is Tesco. The smell of life. 2 stars for me.
