  I visited the Bay Horse Inn for some lunch today, and was met with a warm welcome. It’s lovely to see a historic pub refurbished and restored to its former glory. I ordered off the lunch menu - lunch and a drink for £11.49… can’t go wrong at that price! I ordered a 3oz cheeseburger but opted for the Salt and Pepper Chips for an extra 50p. The portion size was perfect for lunch and certainly filled me up. The food was delicious and the staff were very efficient. Definitely would recommend!

  Sat at table and staff watched us choose our meal. Went to order and they said not doing food today. Terrible service.

  Had an awesome VG chicken burger here with salt & pepper fries 😍 Absolutely brilliant pub, with wonderful food, a cosy interior, a specious outside seating area, and most importantly of all, incredibly friendly, helpful and knowledgable staff 🤩 Looking forward to our next visit already 🫶 Thanks team Bay Horse 🥰

  We stopped in for a lunch on a rainy Tuesday. The welcome was as warm as the food was delicious! A lovely team who took care of else without being overbearing. We had the beef lasagne, cottage pie and Mac n’ Cheese. All served piping hot and full of flavour. We finished off with apple tart and sticky toffee pudding, all with custard. Yum! Highly recommend as a stop in Pickering

  This is what a real pub should be like, real fire, cosy atmosphere and friendly welcoming staff. Stopped off for lunch and really pleased with the choices of food on offer. I opted for the scampi, chips and mushy peas and my husband had chicken schnitzel, chips and peas, both meals were amazing and were both full afterwards. Glad we stopped off in pickering and ate at the Bay Horse Inn x
