This Greggs served me when Mcdonald’s refused to because “No under 16’s allowed after 6pm” apparently. Delicious food and nice workers what’s there not to love?

They were extremely friendly, fast service and we all noticed how lovely the staff were no matter how busy it is/ what they are doing and always have been every time we have visited this Greggs. I go here on my breaks from work sometimes in the evenings and on two occasions I have been given my food for free: once because it was cold and another because I had to wait whilst the staff member dealt with an issue elsewhere (which was only a few minutes and didn't matter to me at all, but is highly appreciated). Staff are always super friendly and communicative. I am a picky eater but there is always something available I will like, even late in the evenings, as they have plenty of options despite being such a small store. Thank you to the staff here for always being so lovely! Definitely needed on my breaks from brutal retail shifts!

We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
