- ABAndrew BerryJan 30, 20261.0Very unhygienic, about to order a breakfast roll to find they don’t wear gloves when making or handling any food , changed my mind immediately and opted for a FREEZING COLD cheese and bean melt to then witness another member of the team handling and throwing frozen bakes onto a tray again with no gloves or beard nets and overall just very rude staff. Absolutely Grim i wont be eating there again !

They put their prices up massively, the attitude from the counter staff and people who work their is AWFUL, their is one guy who wears his collar up and just smashes the system when taking your order with a a face like a child. Very angry all the time, rude, blunt & the food isn’t put everywhere nicely. I know it’s franchised so if you’re going to go anywhere please go to caerleon road Greggs! Just because you own a Greggs doesn’t mean the customers will still come there!

It was all baguette and no filling. A complete scam. Staff are uninterested in customers. I'd rather drive across Newport to a different Gregg's than visit this franchise.

What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
