The Highlights Service with a Smile: The staff here are absolute legends. Even when there’s a massive queue, they stay upbeat, efficient, and get through the line impressively fast. Piping Hot Pastries: Unlike some branches where it's a gamble, the Steak Bakes and Sausage Rolls here are almost always fresh and warm. Perfect Convenience: Being right inside the ASDA makes it the ultimate pit-stop for a post-shop reward or a quick caffeine fix. One Small Tweak The only real downside is the seating area. It can get a bit messy with crumbs and stray napkins during busy periods, so it might need a more frequent wipe-down. If you're picky about that, you might prefer grabbing your food to go. What happens to your leftover food?
We’ve been donating unsold food for a long time. Originally our bakeries would team up with large charities who would help distribute it to smaller organisations.
This process remains in place, though we’ve also worked hard to increase the amount of unsold food donated by our shops and we currently support a network of 1,077 local good causes.
In 2022, we redistributed 1,800 tonnes of unsold food through our Outlet shops. A share of the profits from the outlets, totalling £450,000, was then donated back into the communities we serve.
