Go in here almost every day alongside my family, usually don’t have anything bad to say however recently we had a small accident in store where we spilt a costa drink on the till from the machine, as someone who works in retail my response to this would’ve been to reassure the customer that mistakes happen and then direct other customers to the other tills whilst we cleaned the mistake, maybe even offering the customer another drink (however i understand not everyone has that authority) but a basic level of customer service would’ve been nice, unfortunately the response we got was a huff and a head shake to then be told “go to the other till” after offering to clean it multiple times and then being told “I’ll have to sort it”. First thing on a monday morning it can just ruin your day or even week. I understand everyone has bad days (like I say as someone in retail myself) but to ruin other people’s weeks over actual spilt milk seems slightly unfair. I think a lot of kindness is missing in the world today and small things like this can be a step to change that, I’m not usually one to be negative but I’m hoping this will hopefully make people think before they react to a situation, especially one you’re getting paid to deal with.

Nice store , however never has sugar free ribena in stock . Cash self serve is also rarely working properly. Asked a lady to help and she replied “ Yeah , that’s fine 😄” and then walked away and fiddled with the cans of monster on the other side of co op . Sorry I am very tired , another staff member managed to hep me .

I use this store several times a week, I prefer to use self service so I don't engage with staff, so can't comment on the staff, but they all seem very nice and I'm sure if I needed help they would give it.
