From the moment we arrived, Donna was incredibly attentive, warm, and genuinely caring. She made sure everyone was looked after, always checking in to see if we needed anything, while doing so with kindness and a friendly smile. Her compassion and professionalism really stood out and made a lasting impression on all of us. What made the experience even more memorable was how she went above and beyond her role. We asked if it would be possible to play a few meaningful songs, and Donna happily stepped in as the DJ, making sure our requests were played. It was such a thoughtful gesture that added a very personal touch to the afternoon and meant a great deal to everyone there. The pub itself was a wonderful venue for the wake - welcoming, comfortable, and well organised. The atmosphere was just right for family and friends to come together, share memories, and celebrate a loved one’s life. It’s never an easy occasion, but the care and effort shown by the staff, especially Donna, helped make the day as comforting as it could possibly be. Thank you, Donna, for your kindness, patience, and willingness to go the extra mile. Your genuine care did not go unnoticed, and we are all incredibly grateful. You are a real credit to the pub, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a venue with excellent service and truly wonderful staff.

I bought my parents here for a last minute meal on Friday night and we were accommodated even though the kitchen was due to close. My husband was slightly late due to a late shopping delivery and the food was kept hot for his return. Big thank you to Zack & Lukas in the kitchen for this. Great pub food & variety of drinks 100% will be back again soon.
