  Too busy, too loud. I ordered a beef hotdog and was offered cheese. I asked if it was free and was told it was so I agreed. When I came to pay it was an extra pound. The server couldn’t change it without support and there was no one available to help as it was so busy. I ended up paying the extra just to be able to get my order in and go.

  Subject: Serious Concern About Vegetarian Order Hi Five Guys, I visited your restaurants today and ordered a cheese veggie sandwich. I am vegetarian, so I specifically chose a vegetarian option. While eating the sandwich, I noticed a black, heavily burnt-looking piece of food inside it. I immediately went back to the restaurant and showed it to the member of staff who served me. I was told that it was burnt cheese and another sandwich was prepared for me. However, the item looked extremely different from what I would expect burnt cheese to look like, and it appeared sufficiently similar to a piece of bacon that I became very concerned. As a vegetarian, this was extremely unpleasant and made me uncomfortable eating the replacement sandwich as well. I am not claiming that the item was definitely bacon, as I cannot identify it myself. However, I would like Five Guys to properly investigate what this item was and how it ended up in a vegetarian order. I would appreciate a clear explanation of what the item was and what steps will be taken to ensure this doesn’t happen to vegetarian customers. I have kept the photograph as evidence of what I found.   A good solid meal, it was not the best five guys burger wise. The flavours were okay. The fry portiom was great and the establishment was clean and friendly

  Just what you expect from a Five Guys, very friendly staff and good food. There is ample amount of parking on the complex and I’ve never had to wait for a table. This one is open till late which is perfect for when you leave a late screening at Showcase (next door) and feel a bit peckish.

  Unfortunately the girls cooking the food last night were more interested in sharing gossip than cooking a decent meal or serving their customers. The meat tasted old, the buns were stale and the chips were overly salted. This is the only Five Guys branch where I’ve had repeated negative experiences - I would just avoid this one!
