  The staff are always very friendly and pleasant at this shop, they make you feel welcome and able to request assistance. However, the Co-op brand itself is a letdown due to the high prices and poor quality produce. As such, I only come here if I need to because it’s convenient. This reluctance mostly stems from the poor quality that includes bruised, slimy and brown throughout the middle bananas or how the apples are dry. The own-brand crisps are without adequate seasoning and the ‘wholewheat biscuits’ are hard. The ready meals are tasteless and very oily. The meal deal sandwiches and pizzas are fine but hardly worth the expense, yet I must compliment how well the pizzas cook in the oven without becoming soggy. Often, however, I find myself automatically resorting to the reduced section in Co-op, as do other customers I notice, simply because the prices don’t match the quality. Even though the Co-op membership card takes the sting off, it doesn’t change the quality of food.

  For a small outlet this shop has a surprisingly large range of items which ( unless you are very particular) should meet most shoppers day to day needs. In particular I have always found the staff friendly, courteous and very helpful, so it’s a ‘ yes ‘ from me!😃
