Earlier in the morning, I came in because I saw a deal on a product I wanted. I approached one staff member, but he informed me that only one item was left, so I couldn’t get the deal at that moment. After I got home, I realized I didn’t want to miss out, so I returned to swap the product for another option. When I got back, a young man was assisting, but he seemed a bit unsure. That’s when Sarah stepped in. She immediately paused what she was doing, came over, and asked how she could help. I explained my situation, and she assured me it could be resolved. Within five minutes, she processed a refund and ensured I got the deal I was aiming for as a Co-op member. Now, this might seem like an ordinary case, but for me, it was different because Sarah’s personality stood out. I’ve actually seen her work before—yesterday morning around 6 a.m.—when we went into the Ruddington store, we saw her singing as she started her shift. My partner and I laughed because she had such a bubbly character in the morning, though we didn’t approach her then. When she stepped up to help us today, my partner confirmed, “Oh, that’s the lady who was singing!” We knew right away this was her natural, fun personality she carries to work, and it made all the difference. I really hope management sees this and gives her the recognition she deserves. Thank you!
