  Takes ages to get through the tills. Never have any staff on! Rubbish! Avoid!

  Given the proximity to Center Parcs the selection here is a little surprising. For example, they only sell burgers in packs of 10! Great for families but not so for couples. Minced beef the same, only the big packs not the 250g. As such, we had to rejig our shopping list. That said, it had all we needed for our time here, but if I lived in Ollerton alone, I might need to shop elsewhere or buy a bigger freezer to store the quantities sold here.

  Female toilets smelled overwhelmingly of urine, like a festival toilet. The floor was sticky, several toilet doors were broken, and the whole area smelled as though it had not been cleaned properly in weeks. I was also very disturbed to see signs of needle damage in the toilet rolls, which made me feel sick. I understand Tesco cannot control everything customers do, but with the number of people shopping there every day, the toilets should be cleaned and checked far more often. The hygiene standards were not acceptable. Even the soap dispensers were barely filled, and the soap seemed watered down. The disabled toilet has also been in poor condition for months. The door does not close properly unless someone slams it, and the handle is falling off, which is a clear safety issue. The lack of care for both hygiene and safety is very noticeable. Considering how much money customers spend at Tesco, and how expensive food has become, I would expect much better standards. There is no good reason for these problems to have been left unresolved for so long.
