- MHMichelle HudsonApr 11, 20265.0I very rarely shop at Tesco as I live in Newark and we only have an Express however I was in the Mansfield area and had ordered some euros from their foreign exchange so thought I'd do some shopping whilst I was there. There was only one item unavailable, a certain naan bread I was after but I got everything else plus a few extras. The lady on the checkout called Liz was absolutely lovely, told me how much money I'd saved with clubcard, offered me some fairy tablets at a reduced price and was very friendly and helpful especially when I nearly forgot my mother-in-laws bottle of whisky! Thank you for keeping me in the good books Liz! 😉 I must also say the lady at the foreign exchange booth (Sally I think) was just as lovely. Very friendly and chatty. What a pleasant experience. I believe Tesco is opening an Extra in Newark in the future and I pray it's as good as the one in Mansfield. I'll definitely use it instead of Asda if it does! 🤞
- ISI’m so SwagMar 26, 20262.0Some staff are quite nice and are very polite and helpful, however other members of staff are rude. A lot of them have got a face on when you ask them a question or just generally look unhappy when they have to do something that involves actually doing their job. I understand they might be having a bad day and are upset, but you just need to get on with it I’m afraid. Woman at the checkouts had a face on because I’d asked her to move something that wasn’t mine off the till, if she was using it to check money or something she could’ve just said and I would’ve gone somewhere else. I hate complaining believe it or not however I got to this Tesco nearly everyday and I can’t be bothered to put up with it anymore.
