A fly decided to commit suicide in my drink so rightfully so i went to ask for another drink. Linda at the counter was clearly having a bad day. upon my approach to explain the situation she glares at me with a devilish gaze and utters that the fly’s mortal end was my own fault. ‘That’s your fault, not ours’ she says. Now, i also happen to work at a cafe. it is our responsibility to keep pests and unwelcome contaminants out of the cafe. i understand how hard that is to control and don’t expect Linda to have complete autonomy over the whole ecosystem around us. However she immediately places the blame on me (all i wanted was another americano that i would have happily paid for). The cherry on top is that she proceeds to give me the wrong drink. i had no more energy left in me to complain. it was my first and last time here, id like to credit linda to this decision of mine. however i do wish her the best.

Service today was appalling. Ordered on the screen, stood around and smiled for the gent to tell me I’ve not ordered and not paid. Made me want to cry to be honest in front of a Que of people. After saying I’ve paid he said yes I’ve got it. Then a lady interrupted and said 5 ahead of you though. There’s just no need to be rude, I came for a quick snack on my lunch break, but won’t bother again. Then they all stand slating customers. Costs nothing to be kind you never know what someone is going through
