  A huge store with clothing and household section. Also have instore phone shop, opticians, and a Costa coffee shop. Was disappointed I wasn't able to buy any chilled gluten free items like sausage rolls or quiche.

  I visited Tesco merway, I always see a lovely young lady that’s always smiling😊 I went into trolley self service and she asked if I needed help and helped me scan my shopping through and explained how this works. Dallas has fantastic customer service skills!

  TESCO POLICY! REALLY? A couple of weeks ago I had to return an electrical item (extension lead). The person working at customer service and her supervisor informed me that it's Tesco's policy that they will only accept returns for electrical items if you have a PAPER RECEIPT and that the receipt on their own app is not acceptable. Really? After asking them to show me the policy, and obviously failing, they decided to accept the return. If this really is a policy it might be worth posting it around the store! But, could they, the staff, be lying??? From Tesco's website regarding returning electrical items..... Proof of Purchase: While a receipt is preferred, if you used a Clubcard, Tesco can search for the transaction within 30 days.

  The checkout situation here is completely unacceptable and shows a serious failure in how this store is run. There are almost always only 1–2 tills open when it’s obvious more are needed, and the queues regularly stretch back into the aisles. It blocks entire sections of the shop and turns a simple visit into a stressful, chaotic experience every single time. What makes it worse is the over-reliance on self-checkout instead of actually staffing proper tills. Many customers clearly don’t want to use self-checkout, especially with full trolleys, yet instead of opening more tills, staff are often just standing around, chatting and laughing with each other rather than actively helping or managing the situation... This store seriously needs to hire more staff for checkouts and actually have people working on them. Right now it feels poorly run, inefficient, and consistently frustrating. Staff don't care, they are slow, chatting with one another. Overall, this is a poorly managed shop where it genuinely feels like the managers don’t care.
