- LSlaura “Laura S” SAug 27, 20261.0Very disappointing experience I was genuinely excited when I saw Coco di Mama, as I thought I’d found somewhere Italian where I could enjoy a nice lunch. Unfortunately, the experience was absolutely disappointing. I ordered what I thought would be a fresh baguette, but it was taken straight from the fridge and the quality was really poor. As you can see from the photos, it certainly wasn’t what I expected from an Italian food place. I’m also a student, so I politely asked whether they offered a student discount. The reaction from the staff made me feel uncomfortable — they looked at me and made faces as though I had asked something completely strange. Even a simple “Sorry, we don’t offer one” would have been perfectly fine. Between the disappointing food and the unfriendly customer service, I definitely wouldn’t return. If it were possible to give less than one star, I would.
- SSSamsung SunshineJun 14, 20265.0Excellent food, lovely staff. Served on 15th June between 5 & 6pm. Pasta of my choice served in an easy to eat from take away box with fork. Rocket, basil, spiced oils all available at no extra charge too! We only stopped because we knew there was McDonalds at the the service station which meant cheaper food wejnew we liked.. My other half went to the loo so I had time to look around rather than going straight to my usual fav... McDs. I was surprised to find Coco di Mama cheaper than an adult McDs meal and to be honest, sounded tastier and healthier. It won my choice I had the spicy chicken and mascarpone wholewheat pasta with the works... parmesan cheese, basil, rocket and chilli oil. I was impressed and will be sure to visit next time. Delicious
