This is a masterclass in disappointment. Large breakfast consists of last night's refried frozen chips, cold mushrooms that have onset rigor mortis, a half tomato (I think) that looks like it's been reconstituted having survived Hiroshima, hard boiled cold scrambled egg, imitation leather bacon and styrofoam "toast" that was a 3 quid add-on. Staff were pleasant. 1 star added for proximity to toilets.

We arrived , waited to get seated but no one looked at us. When in the end we have been told to sit anywhere, we tried to order through the app, which didn’t work. We tried to ask for help but they ignored us. When we have been told he will come and take our order , he left us and took orders from people who just arrived. Asked someone else, she said he will be with us soon. He took another table’s order , who just arrived . 15 minutes we waited, when we asked again but that was another waitress who promised to come back and she did. Ordered our meals and 5-10 minutes later the first waiter comes back to take the order we already placed that point. The attitude is the most annoying part.

Really short staffed here today, amazing young lady doing the front of house, clearing tables, as well as taking orders, explaining the situation clearly and any wait times, what a brilliant member of staff, calm and efficient, clearly works so well under pressure, would be good management material.

The seating area was very busy but the host cleaned the one remaining table for me. She said there would be up to a 30 minute wait for the food order, however it was only 10-15 minutes. The food was hot and fresh but my side order of onion rings was served almost as a dessert and I had to ask twice for my drink halfway through my meal, so it appeared that they were short staffed on a very busy Sunday afternoon.

We had a fantastic experience at Frankie & Benny’s at Bristol Airport, all thanks to our brilliant server, Brenda. Airport dining can often feel rushed, but Brenda made our visit incredibly pleasant. She was attentive, polite, and really helpful throughout our meal, ensuring we had everything we needed before our flight.
Great service makes all the difference, and Brenda is a wonderful asset to the team. We will definitely look out for her the next time we travel through Bristol!
