  Between 10:45pm to 11:00pm on Saturday 22-06-2024 I went to 126 Milton Street North to buy a few items just before it closed. Whilst taking my wallet from my pocket I temporarily placed my spectacles on the counter and when I arrived home I realised that I hadn't retrieved my them so quickly rushed back to the shop but the shop assistant said he had not seen my glasses. I returned to the shop the following morning requesting to speak to the owner but as he wasn't available I left my phone number so that he could contact me after reviewing the CCTV footage to ascertain what transpired within the 15-minutes that I was in and out of the shop and then back again just before they closed. It's been 2-weeks now and no one has bothered to call me back to resolve this simple quandary. Meanwhile, I have reported the theft to the Northamptonshire police at Campbell Square who informed me that the CCTV footage should be available to review up until Monday 1-8-2024.
