  Visited on bank holiday Monday in hot weather, and the place was very busy. The staff were attentive and provided great service clearly under a lot of pressure. The vegan roast cauliflower and salad was lovely, and it's so rare to find a genuinely tasty, whole food plant based option that's isn't just falafel or a processed fake meat burger. The changes to the menu after the refurb are great 😊

  The Maltsters is in a beautiful location on the Broads, H has it’s own parking (although was full when we came), when I got my food I was disappointed thinking that it wasn’t going to be enough but was actually the perfect amount, was very yummy and well-presented. Hubby loved his steak on bread ( not a sandwich 😂) and chips he was very happy and the fact they had Amstel to. The staff were lovely and welcoming, very attentive and friendly.

  Had a roast here, the beef was really nice ,how ever not many vegetables and the 3 small roast potatoes was chewie ,not good value for your money. Shame have eaten here before.

  Not been here for a while, refurbishment is lovely. Menu excellent although, personally I would like a few more vegetarian friendly items. That said the wild mushroom pie with roasted veg was superb, companion had Korean chicken burger, also excellent. We were both a little disappointed with the Lemon Meringue Tart, so very small, not really a portion worthy of £7.50. Very nice though.

  From the moment we popped in during the morning to browse the evening menu, we were made to feel genuinely welcome. That same warm and friendly greeting continued when we returned for our 5pm booking, setting the tone for a really enjoyable dining experience. Amy and her team provided outstanding service throughout the evening — attentive, professional, and always happy to help with any requests or requirements we had. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and their care and attention really stood out. The food was absolutely delicious, beautifully presented, and clearly prepared with care. Every dish we ordered was full of flavour and thoroughly enjoyed by everyone at the table. Combined with the excellent customer service and relaxed atmosphere, it made for a fantastic experience from start to finish. A huge thank you to Amy and the whole team for making our visit so enjoyable. We’ll definitely be returning and would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for great food and exceptional hospitality. From Steve,Lorraine, Laura and Indy
