  Date of visit: 11 August 2026Time of visit: 9:45 PMI visited this store to purchase two bottles of beer and waited at the self-checkout for over six minutes for age approval. Unfortunately, a group of five staff members nearby were chatting and did not notice the queue. When I politely asked for assistance, the employee who helped me was visibly annoyed and confrontational. I understand everyone has busy or stressful shifts, but basic politeness and efficient service should still be expected. I hope management can look into this specific shift to help improve the evening customer experience.

  A handy little local for top ups and last‑minute essentials. It’s open long hours (usually until 11pm), so it’s a lifesaver when you need milk, bread, or a ready meal after work. The shelves are generally well stocked for a small store, and the staff are friendly and efficient. On the downside, parking can be tight during peak times, and the selection is obviously limited compared to a big superstore but that’s expected for an Express. Prices are standard Tesco, so Clubcard offers are worth using. Overall, it’s a reliable neighbourhood convenience stop.

  TERRIBLE customer service from the younger guy who was on Till. Went in around 8:10pm with my younger brother to buy him and my dad snacks after i done a 9 hour shift, got a large bottle of coke for my KID brother and a monster for myself. Guy on the till wouldn’t make eye contact, had horrible body language and it seemed as though we were bothering him while just trying to buy snacks. His attitude was terrible, he had no manners and kept saying he wouldn’t serve me because he wanted to ID my brother and i, i had my ID told him i was 19. And that my little brother was only 14. I don’t appreciate the way he spoke to me or my brother, there is definitely another approach to talking about store policies. If this is the type of people serving me, i will not and do not want to shop here again.

  Great shop which holds an amazing amount of products, despite its size. Managed to get the fruit that I needed & some other things. I could have done a Woosh order from here, but as I was at the nearby chemist, this was the better option. Shop is bright & clean & the staff are friendly and helpful. Highly recommend & will use again!!
